The sound on Netflix

Is really bad. Not just on my tv. Is it like this on the DVD?

reply

I feel like that was deliberate in the film itself because not all of it is bad.

I DO know what you mean though. It almost sounds like they added a weird effect to the most random sounds.

I just feel like a lot of the dialogue wasn't properly picked up by the boom mic or something and then later they fixed it. The sound mixing was absolute *beep* though

I thought it was my computer. The sound was so bad I took out my ear buds and listened on the weak computer speakers. After the bad sound continued I chalked it up to a terribly edited movie.

I own this on DVD, that's just how it is.

No, it's the Netflix version that's off. The sound on Netflix sounds like they're in an echo-y tunnel while talking and the sound effects sounds weird too. I've seen the movie prior to Netflix and it was never like that. I don't even know if the movie is still on Netflix at the moment, but to the OP - you're not crazy! The DVD audio does NOT sound like this.
