Okay- I was told this movie was available in WIDESCREEN on DVD. The DVD I got today, region 1, is FULL SCREEN. WHAT the motherholyf u c k is going on here?
Does anyone here have the A-Pix region 1 DVD? I was told it was in WIDESCREEN.

I have it, and it's a double sided disc... Side A is widescreen, Side B is fullscreen.

I did the same thing! I heard it had widescreen, but it was fullscreen only. After some research, I learned that they stopped producing the double-sided version and now only do the full screen. You can probably find the double-sided version on eBay. I just bought the Italian DVD, which has the Italian and English versions, but it's region 2 so if you're in region 1, you'll need a region-free player.
shareI have the double-sided disc as well, and it's still not widescreen. At least not in the sense of having the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. They are there for the credits, then mysteriously disappear once the Paris title card shows up, and they don't come back until the very end. What the hell?
