Ok, after reading the some of the posts on this forum, i know that Christine loves that phantom, but the quotes are making me confused about this. A majority of the quotes are mostly Christine saying to the phantom "I Hate You!" so my question is, When/How does she fall in love with him?
sharePOSSIBLE SPOILERS: She seems entranced with him when they meet in a hallway. The meeting even seems to make her giddy. Christine later seems to be able to communicate with him through telepathy. I guess it was love at first sight. She tells him she hates him when he leaves her alone in his underground world (well, she's not quite alone, because the rats are watching her.) I guess the Phantom cast a spell on her, because she falls for Raoul when he rescues her. However, she falls under the Phantom's powers toward the end, and she has a real conniption fit when Raoul tries to get her to leave the opera house cellars.
