Chubs was gay. Hypothesis inside.

Is it just me, or did anyoneelse feel that the people/person who wrote this movie alluded to Chubs' homosexuality? I mean, think about it. Not one time, do we see Chubs with women, while we saw Ninja getting some in the karaoke room scene. Then, at the arsenal in the harbor when they're arming up, Chubs says "Don't ask, don't tell, right" (which is a military policy regarding homosexuals in the military).

Did you watch the movie? do you remember the part when he and ninja are in the pool with the ladies, then pest comes, then he is seen tryin to hit on the girls again, he makes a gay joke so what, he is seen with the ladies and is talkin about the ladies, so chubbs is not gay, the pest was the funniest movie of 1997.

Who cares? It doesn't matter.

I don't know about Chubs, but I got that vibe from Himmel. :D

I had that vibe from Himmel too, but I wasn’t quite sure when he entered the club with the gang. The guy who walked past with a tray of champagne (the water) smiled at himmel, Himmel smiled back then when the water turned his back Himmel gave him a nasty look.

Oh, come on people, OF COURSE Himmel is gay. There were so many subtle (and not-so-subtle) gay jokes written about him in the script (the snake references come to mind), it's plain as day.

reply

Not to mention when Pest presses his butt against the window to make Himmel let him in, or when Himmel says he wants to become a hair dresser, or when he gets excited when his dad mentions a man's warm body in his hands, or when Pest convinces him to go on the boat so they can play "snakey wakey", or when he says he never gets the good jobs such as putting a tracking device in Pest's underware, or when.........

Also, Chubs mentions space women so I don't think he's gay but he is into some wheird stuff.

reply

"cocktoe, named after my 2 favorite body parts." That answers the Himmel question.
