Amazingly now uncut in the UK!

Just been looking through Amazon.co.uk and I've dicovered that this film is going to be released on DVD fully uncut for the first time ever on March 6th of this year. I don't know anything about extra's on the disc but it amazing that it finally has been passed by the BBFC without cuts. I know the theatrical cut had around 5 or 6mins removed from it in the UK and for some reason the previous DVD release only ran at 96mins(!), so this is some kind of victory for this underated if very controversial minor classic.

Finally I got the real uncut version from the UK. This new UK version is the only true uncut version running at almost 125 minutes. All other versions are edited. Its a Region 2 PAL format though. All you need is a region free player that will play PAL discs. This movie had a lot of DVD covers through the years but this is the right cover so you can get the right one

the german e-m-s dvd (also region 2) is also fully uncut and has been out for years. its got dts and the special editions have got the soundtrack as well. thats the version you want. its only about 12 quid.

get on eBay , buy the only full version.from Germany with the black cover, white n red image.
the American unrated has all the quirkiness cut from it, and the uk has other missing parts, ive got 4 versions of this , the German cut is best

I have this version as well. It the best looking version but unfortunately when you watch it there are no subs for the spanish speaking sections of the movie. So you either have to turn on the english subs when they speak spanish or just leave them on. Either way its annoying. And this new version IS uncut. The previous one from Metronome was cut. I am definitely picking this one up.
