Terrible script, terrible acting, terrible story with no explanation for anything.... a complete and utter mess of a movie.
If it's coming on tv and you haven't seen it.... do yourself a favor and change the channel :)
I'm still trying to figure out why she left in the first place. Nothing is explained. Ellen Burstyn is completely wasted. I mean, she adds nothing to the story. If they would have gone more into the waters and the miracles etc, but this movie stunk big time.
But I do love Clancy Brown and his tallness.
I agree with everything that has been said about this movie. It was ridiculous and the main character's motives were never explained.
