Not enough gore.

The movie is not scary. Rather calling it a horror movie, I would call it an well acted thriller.

However, the concept of this movie has a potential to be extremely gory, especially if the video game coming out first. I think the story of this movie is great and original, which does not really happen anymore in current movie industry. It is why I really enjoy movies based on famous novels.

Not saying that I want to ruin the movie and make it looks like the likes of ‘the machine girls’ or ‘Tokyo Gore Police’ but some of the scene will look a lot more shocking if they are made more gory than it is. Maybe a similar amount of gore like the video games like the cell liquids flowing though ground or people melt like in the video game. Of course not too much gore because it won’t fit the ending.

Uh, scary does not equal gore does not equal horror.

Some films are meant to have tons of gore in them, and this is NOT one of them. In my opinion gore would have ruined the beauty of this film completely.
