This movie is in need of a remake

This was a great movie, though it doesn't surprise me that the ADHD, Ritalin dependent nation of teens and twenty somethings would find it slow, and those are the ones that could actually deal with watching a movie that's subtitled and requires their full attention on the TV screen for an hour and a half. While very good, it would benefit greatly from a remake with some updated special effects, preferably in English. With all the complete and total cr@p coming out of Hollywood these days, and the reboots of franchises that are less than 10 years old (Transformers??), here's a movie that's begging to be re-made for an English speaking audience. Not only could it spawn a movie franchise, but the popular game franchise could definitely benefit from a reboot on modern systems. Here's hoping... and also hoping that the original may someday be released on blu-ray.
