Goof column: Moon in wrong quarter???

Really takes some digging to come up with this.
99.9% of those reading this wouldn't know this or care.

Now if you saw a modern car or cell phone in the background, that would be a good goof.
I think to notice the phases of the moon is really nit-picking.

Are you sure the temperature for the events noted wasn't off a few degrees per historical documentation? If you dig hard enough this may turn out to be true!!!

Which is why I flagged it as not interesting. Who cares what quarter the moon was in and to call it a goof meant some had waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much time on their hands.
