The movie was a light hearted fun movie with an amazing looking 60 year old Dyan Cannon (watching the movie, not knowing how old she was, I rolled my eyes at the age difference with Matthau which I thought would be close to 40 years, but was only 17). But if I could take away one part, it would be the stereotypical japanese character. So bad.
shareI saw this film again last night and was thinking of why this young woman wants to hang out and be with an old geezer like Matthau's character, and I have seen her in one or two other films with a "mature" cast (8 Heads in a Duffel Bag) is an example.
Sort of shocked she was 60 then. Damn, she looks good. If she had plastic surgury, that doctor did a great job and she did have a body of a teenager. Lights, camera, Hollywood magic can do wonders, but if I met her then and she told me she was 40, I would believe it.
