I laughed hard when Walter Matthau said that to the Knightrider guy.

So did I. That was a classic line

KnightRider guy, huh? Yeah, Devon Miles. But to me the late, great, Edward Mulhare (who died before this movie was released) will always be Captain Daniel Gregg (The Ghost and Mrs. Muir) KR was okay, but "Ghost" was way better.
