This is a great film and one of my favourites and why hasn't it got any posts. This is Peter Mullan's best film and Gary Lewis, Doug Henshall and the great Stephen McCole are all exceptional. Great film. Is there any others fans out there?

I thought this film was quite effective.
That scene where the older brother is swept out into the sea on the skid...fantastic.
yeah iam a fan of ALL the actors in this movie but not yet seen it,cant wait to get a hold of it.
shareMy sister told me about this film when we had to share board to survive and once we went to the video store, she reminded me of it, saw it together and I was blown out by its simplicity of plot, difficult characters to portray although these are easily understandable, moving dialogue, oh, man.... this is still a great movie that I wish could be screened or shown on TV more often... a story of stories on route to a funeral, to cope with death and on going life filled with memories good and bad and trying to get even for it... Sorry for rambling but this flick deserves more recognition.
But maybe I'm wrong...
