Darius McCrary

Darius McCrary did a hell of a job as Ali in Don King Only in America! Get past the skin tone and look at his face, and listen to the voice. He had Ali's mannerisms down!

I like Darius McCrary's performance as Ali far better than Will Smith.

In the Smith version, Will just seemed to be doing his own voice and trying to give it a slang to replicate Ali's voice.

I can't say that Smith's performance was bad, as he acted it very very well!

But, if a person is looking for a movie that captures the spirit and humorous persona that Ali has, Don King Only in America is the only biopic thus far that captures this.

In fact, Don King Only in America showed the modern fight game best of all of the boxing movies. Keep in mind that until Don King, all of the black heavy weight fighters died broke at the hands of white managers and Promoters.

King ripped them off as well, but he allowed them to make some money also! They were all millionaires, and that would not have been the case with all white management and Promoters.

And please please, non of you white bloggers write me back with your insults, this is factual history. This isn't a racial degradation against white people, just a fact, that the fight game, music industry, and other aspects of sports and entertainment were operated and owned by white business people who weren't very fair with the money.
