Ending

I know it's not a very good film but I taped it and it cut off near the end an i just wanna know what happens! Can anyone tell me what happens?! It cut off when the two couples were having a meal in the sushi bar for the second time, after they'd seen each other...with each other...?!
Thanks

Hi did you watch it last night on Channel 5?
What happens after the sushi bar?
They leave in taxis but they are now with each others husbands and wives.
So Wesley Snipes is with Natassa Kinski and Kyle Mclaclan is with Wesley Snipes wife in the film, sorry don't know her name. Wesley Snipes and Natassa Kinski say goodbye to the other two as they are sitting in a taxi and Snipes's ex-wife (i guess) asks about the children, etc. Car drives off and Wesley and Natassa are like standing in the street. The End. Hope that helps.

I didn't think that they were divorced (wesley & his wife). I thought they were still married, but just doing the 'swap' thing w/the other couple. I mean, up until the very, very ending moments, it seemed as if one is SUPPOSED to think they're still married & together; the director seems waaaay too intent on it appearing to the audience that they ARE still together. He (director)/They never let on for a second that they're NOT still together. I thought it was because they ARE still married. So then he/they can floor you with "the twist."

The ending for me is ok because I truly couldn't stand Wesley's wife. What a She-dog! There was absoltely no love between them I felt because she was on his back in every way. When you have a husband like that, (sexy and expressive), with counterculture ideals you must take care of him or he might stepping out on you. I was so glad he had the affair and realised his life with her was not working and ended up marrying 'the other woman' in THE END. Maybe its because it reminds me of my first husband. But what I didn't like in the film was the smoke and daggers that confined Max. I like the character a lot.

This isn't as good and LEAVING LAS VEGAS, which I love! but it does have merits.

I think this is a great movie. Leaving Las Vegas was one of the greatest films of the 90s but this one was great as well. Life is an orange afterall :)

Maybe he was not showing her much love in the first place.. Cant rationalise infidelity in any way, shape or form.Anyway was he not still in love iwth the one night stand lady?? If anything his marrying her and having kids with her was a deceit on his part.

hey, i saw the movie from the part where Wesley meets Natasha for the first time at the hotel reception when there's a huge traffic jam, onwards. Can someone fill me in on the events prior to their first encounter? Like are things explained; his relationship with Robert Downey Jr, what kind of life he left behind .. how he moved to L.A. etc
thanks!

In short, the end discloses that the couples swapped spouses/partners.
