Has the world gone mad?
I just viewed this movie - ten years after its release - and even TiVo'd it so I could watch it in its entirety if I lost interest or fell asleep. Guess what, after four attempts and fast-forwarding through the parts I had already seen, I made it to the end.
If I could rate the movie, I MIGHT give it a 4 for the amount of big-name talent. But the acting and cinematography was poor at best.
I did not see any depth of character that has been mentioned. The storyline, while not entirely predictable, was poorly written and very loosely held together. If it weren't for the "A-list" actors, this movie would have been a made for TV, Lifetime channel rerun at the very best.
I know we're all entitled to our own opinions, and many of the posters on this forum like the movie. But I think you've all gone mad. Seriously, that's my opinion. And I don't say that to start any flame war.
I'll file this one in the ever-growing "No redeeming social value" file folder.
