i give it a solid 7. i agree is no casablanca, but concidering 80% of the stuff that holywood "creates" this is a jewel. dont listen to the haters, is worth a chance. ive seen it twice and i would again. ciao

No, I saw it 4 times and it's quite up to par with other films of Mike Figgis from this period: Internal Affairs, Liebestraum, Stormy Monday.

I really liked this film too. Great performances from Snipes & RDJ. 

It's a great movie for mature viewers, that have actually experienced romance and drama in their lives.. I don't see how this new generation could "get" this dramatic romance.
