The restaurant in the beginning and the desert in general sure look like the same area used in The Devil's Rejects.

It is. I just looked it up.

It is Club Ed, 42848 150th Street East on the southeast corner of Avenue L in Lancaster, about 70 miles north of Los Angeles.

Any other Devil's Rejects fans out there? Hello?
