The actress who plays the flower shop girl who later tries to seduce Robbins' character pleaded no contest to vehicular manslaughter when she entered the center turn lane to drive around a line of stopped vehicles and struck and killed a 9 year old boy who was crossing the street. It was alleged that she was talking on her cell phone at the time.

No, we can’t start yet! We’re still expecting someone!

Yes, but this happened in 2001 though which was 10 years ago. So it is old news now.

That is sad to hear that Rebecca Gayheart killed a 9 year old boy.

In order for that to happen, like most "accidents", aren't "accidental", because at least TWO things had to happen! One, she was using the center "turn lane", as a "through lane", which is illegal! And Two, the child was NOT crossing in a "crosswalk", also known as "jaywalking"! Now more things, had to have happened, as "if" it was only those two, then people are not usually charged!
