Why SNITCH??
Why does the title come up as Snitch? I'm confused and cannot find any kind of references for this movie being called that at any point. any ideas?

I notice the imdb lists another alternative title as 'noose' for the Australian release - and that's the only name I knew it by, hired and watched it on dvd years ago.
I can only guess as to why they changed the name for australia - possibly because the slang expression 'snitch' itself isn't one used locally - the local slang for that would be (depending on age and demographic people using the terms) either 'dog' (short for 2 legged dog) or 'give up' - i.e. he's a #!%$@!^ give-up - he'd inform on anyone to avoid doing real time.
