Question about Hanlon and Bobby (possible spoilers)

I'm trying to figure out what I think, so I thought I'd ask others' opinions. After Bobby leaves the AOH and Hanlon and Lee stop him, does Hanlon take and keep the cash he finds in Bobby's jacket? I'm thinking yeah, but thought more opinions would be interesting, too.

hanlon tells Bobby he'll handle it Bobby's way, implying he would keep the money in exchange for his silence.

I was wondering the same thing - it was very disappointing - For all his bluster Hanlon is no better than someone like Jackie O.

At least with Bobby his motives were in a way driven by a more noble emotion - avenging Seamus and Teddy. Sure it's brutual and harsh but somewhat understandable.

I still somehow find it more acceptable than the base greed of the other two.

p.s - Just watched the movie last night - thought it was brilliant.

I really like that touch, the seemingly straight arrow cop keeping the drug money when you least expected it. I think it both showed Bobby that the code of silence is intrinsically wrong and at the same time added complexity to the character played by Sheen
