This movie SUCKED! there was like no conclusion it just ended!
shareLeary avenged his two cousins deaths. This movie, in my opinion, is underated and has gained more and more fans since the year of it's release. And its f-in Ted Demme man, okay?

In other words because you didn't understand the ending, you can't see how anyone else could either? It wasn't this clear cut happy Hollywood ending but the story clearly concluded. He killed Jackie. He killed Jackie's shooter who gunned down his cousin, Teddy and more than likely, his cousin, Shamus. Did this suddenly uplift the neighborhood and give his life purpose? No, but there are plenty of films that end on similiar notes.

I'm with CrazyJim and Mawkyjones -I Thought Snitch was a brilliant movie.
Movie's like this make the viewer think about things long after the film has ended.
The good old fashioned ,standard and neatly tied up ending does not ask as much of the viewer IMO.
p.s - Also must say I think Ted Demme was a highly underrated director!
I agree. Great movie, not the typical hollywood ending.
