Brooke Kinsella - How does she feel about this drama now ?

Am wondering, if anyone knows of interviews or anything like that where she talks about acting in this drama?
How does she feel about being a part of it and the craziness that followed it's showing on TV all those years back?

Anyone?

I'm sorry I can't help you answer that question, but it's something I would worry about. After having a sexualised role in Leon, Natalie Portman has always said that kids shouldn't be exposed to sex so young and that she kind of regrets taking that role. Leon is nothing compared to this film. I found this really traumatising to watch, so I can't imagine what it must have been like to act in. Personally I think there were some major ethical issues raised in terms of what minors should and shouldn't be allowed to act. And as far as I'm concerned, they should never be allowed to act out being sexually abused, especially not so explicitly as in this film.

Not everyone views things the same way, but remember, it's called acting. The scenes are often discussed and rehearsed long before they actually go before the cameras and film it. If a child actor is involved, their parent and/or guardian has to consent to their being in the film. Jodie Foster and Brooke Shields both played child prostitutes and they turned out fine. Jena Malone played the physically and sexually abused child in "Bastard Out Of Carolina" (1995) and she has never expressed regret about making that film. I find it strange that people get so upset about nudity and sex in films but not violence or gore. If a child actor has issues where their behavior is destructive it likely stems from problems that began long before and are personal.
