Okay flick.

So this movie was okay, had a few better elements than the book, but not many.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO SUNG THE LAST SONG? WHERE SHE WAS IN THE GRAVEYARD?
Are they saying haunted by two loves? It sounds an awful lot like chris isaak. But I'm not sure. SOMEONE ANSWER ME!

hey, i wish i knew what that song was, because i've been trying to find it also. if you find out what it is, please, please let me know. and i agree, it definately sounds like chris isaak!!!

I really want to know the name of the song as well. It sounds a bit like Chris Isaak's Wicked Games, even to the similar guitar sounds. However, the man singing the song sounded different from Chris Isaak. The song is soothing and rather haunting in itself. The main chorus sounds like it could be: "I'm haunted by two loves" although I could be wrong. The only lyrics I could catch were: "I don't know what to do," "'cause you're dying to belong," "her touch is fire," pretend that we never met," and "I'm afraid I still love you."

I agree with you. It did sound like Chris Isaak. I have been trying to find out who sings that song. Did you ever find out who it was? Let me know. Thanks.

On a scale how good is this flick??? Havent seen it yet but I thought it might be ok with Casper Van Dien and Candace Cameron

reply

I'd give a 7/10. It had a couple of interesting twists, and the acting wasn't too bad. I thought the ending was played out too quickly, though.

Steveston Village, in Richmond, British Columbia served as the exterior for the town scenes.

I liked it for it's setting. And it treated this type of haunted story a bit differently. Laura instils herself into the mind of her replacement in the small town. Rather than hearing voices ETC which is a stale cliché of this type of film. A bit unusual I thought.
