Please tell me the title credits sequence is not CGI

I love it, but that is based on a belief that it is carefully designed using rolls of cloth or maybe paper that have careful cut outs in the ends. If it is just CGI then forget it.

It looks to me like paint applied on the reverse side of a piece of glass. Whatever it is, it's stunning.

Agreed on the last part. But can you flesh that out? It seems to "unfurl" downward. How would that work if it were glass?
