I want to bang my head into a wall from sheet BOREDOM!

What IS IT with this movie?? I'm nearly an hour into this and I'm SO sorry I'm not scrubbing a shower or something more useful! Had high(er)hopes as it had Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Holland Taylor in it, but after this long I'm BORED to death and wondering why I didn't just re-watch some Jane Austen movie...the main character, what IS her name-see--I don't even CARE, this movie is SO all over the place..anyway, she's on 'blind dates'with a bunch of DOLTS I Don't give a rat's azz about either, alk the while, on 'the other side of town 'is a not so appealing/or even sympathetic 'guy'I don't care about EITHER is likely in 20+ minutes going to 'meet-cute'her somewhere where I'll be fantasmically BORED by both of them! What, if ANY, is the point of this movie, someone PLEASE enlighten me, as I'd love to know I'm wrong about it all! Thank you..END of rant...
