I've been looking for that song myself, with no success at all. I guess I'm gonna have to buy the DVD and it's gonna be the only worthy thing about it! If I remember correctly the song name is "No one ever loved me like you" performed by "Natalie Taylor" ?

Yes, "gothically haunting" hits the mark.
I used the very same term "haunting" to describe a small flick I would like to locate. Le Songe des chevaux sauvages that I saw when I was a little kid over 30 years ago.
