very end of the film

When they do the whole coin toss this and I think he says "It's heads" or something and the music starts up. Then she says "God I love you" and kisses him. Did anyone think her last line was kinda unessecary and kinda ruined the moment? I was all into it and that just didn't...flow right.

Earlier she had said she loved her fiance' "n her own way." So this line showed she was more into Jude Law than the other guy.

You may have been reacting more to the utter lack of chemistry between them. Also, the last shot in the movie comes after the credits. It is pretty funny, too, for a movie that probably should never have been made.

disagree entirely... total chemistry between them, great sexual tension as she tries to deny it... very charming film, very strong supporting performances.

zainy...

I tend to agree with you on this and disagree with the comment attributing it to a lack of chemistry. Indeed, the entire finale was entirely too contrived, especially the dialog. But, then again, one might say this generally about romantic comedies. Here, the concept of each taking the other's way of being, so to speak, is a good one, I think, and there are probably other romances with the same idea, but I don't think the film-makers of this movie were able to deftly bring it to the screen. And I'm pretty sure this wasn't the fault of the actors either.
