Rupert Graves

I love him, he's such a cutie and was the only reason I finished watching this movie.

I assume you've seen him in the Forsyte Saga, in which he's much, much better. If you haven't, it's worth looking for.

Loved him in "The Forsyte Saga." That is an excellent series; wish there was more!

He was great also in Room With a View, and Where Angels Fear to Tread, both with Helena Bonham-Carter

And especially in "Maurice".

Coming late to the thread as per my usual!

Rupert was amazing in this. It was just so devastating to watch the breakdown of his character Septimus. It's even more poignant when you think that, if he had this illness today, there probably would have been something that a doctor could do for him. He's such a brilliant actor, and still doing great work today. I'd rank this as one of his best performances. His expressions were just devastating, and it was very sad to see, however, briefly, the normal person that he was.

Oh, and Rupert is very, very easy on the eyes, even today. Such a stunning man! His performance as Alec Scudder in Maurice is what made me get into him. I can't say enough about that role, and his, um, assets! Gorgeous! James Wilby was also great in that movie, as the title character Maurice Hall. They just don't make movies like that anymore.
