Nothing was resolved...

I enjoyed the movie however I felt what if anything had been resolved? He definitely had a serious problem with his jealous nature and lack of trust however it served him well to uncover her dishonesty and infidelity. So what was finally resolved in the end? There didn't seem to be anything to indicate that he had overcome his mistrust and jealousy and, in like, nothing to indicate that she was sorry about her infidelity and lack of honesty. I have to agree with a post elsewhere in which it was suggested that the movie should have ended sooner. The ending, as it is, just put everyone back at square one. There was no real closure as there would have been should it have ended sooner.

I don't remember her cheating on him, lying yes but wasn't that all.

I had a similar impression regarding the ending of the movie. I didn't observe any noticeable shift in the characters' perspectives on the topic of realtionship throughout the film. Despite him attending university and her seeking therapy, it's puzzling to discern how these choices truly influenced their behaviors or attitudes. Agree, the ending should end sooner.

They changed in the sense that they finally seemed able to accept their respective flaws (jealously/dishonesty, etc.), along with the flaws of the other. At least to some temporary degree.

It somewhat reminded me of the ending to Eternal Sunshine, where Joel and Clem were similarly "right back to square one". Yet, despite having even more concrete evidence the relationship was doomed to fail in their case, it simply didn't matter. For both couples, the spark was too strong, and each were willing to give it another shot.

Personally I thought the endings to both films were poignantly beautiful and true to life. It's about the journey, not the destination.
