Movies like this are rare.

The camera-work, special effects, music and optical tricks make the movie work.
If the script ain't perfect, it still works as a perfect movie.

Also it reminds me of Tim Burton a lot.

It's just astounding how much work can be put into a movie like this.
You won't find a scene that doesn't work, visully. Expect maybe the cat in the box.
It's right there with Home Alone which also has a great cinematography.


Movies like this are really rare and they become even rarer because this movie is totally 90's
