Does Mousehunt bring a certain Pixar/Disney rat chef movie to mind? (spo

Between the debacle with the mayor at the French restaurant and the mouse becoming the boys’ cheese consultant at the end, sure looks to me like Pixar screened this Disney-tweaking flick as they were planning "Ratatouille."

Ratatouille certainly seems to have been somewhat inspired by Mousehunt. Their pretty different in focus though. Personally I'd rather watch a mouse torture two numbskulls, than watch a mouse cook dinner.
