LOL! The flying dead guy was awesome..but....not to be a downer... :)
That actor (Dad Smuntz played by William Hickey) actually died during post-production and it was his wish (he knew he was dying) to have these moments of hilarity in the movie, even though some people thought it would be in bad taste. That's how I want to be remembered when I go!!! Flying from a casket into the sewer!!! lol.....

I'd have to agree with you on the funniest moment being when Caesar says "What's that?! HORSE! Fiendish! I won't eat it! AHHHHHHHH!!" as he's carried away on an ambulance stretcher munching his teeth like a deranged mouse after being dragged through the house like a recking ball. LOL!! Too funny!! I just caught this movie on cable tonight and I was rolling on the floor laughing during that moment. It's still as funny as when I first saw it years ago. Christopher Walken is hilarious in a such a small/cameo role as Caesar the exterminator.

My fave bits:

*When Catzilla was chasing the mouse and they fell in the piano
*Ernie shoots the piano and Lars goes "You hit the piano! You hit the piano!"
*When part of Lars' clothes gets caught in the machine and all his clothes rip and then he's naked lol
*Lars is wearing a pink overcoat and Ernie goes "Why are you wearing a pink overcoat?"
*Ernie says "Now you know, this house will last forever!" then the house falls down lol
*When Ernie and Lars are in the attic and they scream and then Ernie says "look look it's only a toy" and Lars shines a torch on a jack in a box and then he screams again so Ernie drops him and he goes "Aaaaah shut up!"
*When Lars opens a box and loads of moths fly out and they scream lol
*When the mouse goes down Lars' trousers and Ernie has to get it out and everyone looks lol

SPIDER PIG!! Loving the simpsons movie!

I love when Ernie goes up the chimeny and Lars lights the match and the fire just spreads and Ernie shoots up the chimeny like a firecracker, i almost died laughing at that part, i even had to walk out of the theater becuz i didnt wanna ruin the movie becuz i was laughing so damn hard.

I couldn't agree with you more. When Lane looks at Evans and gesticulates that he went up and then came down and Evans tries to process the info and then holds his crushed hands up - just brilliant.

And the sounds that they make are freaking hysterical LMAO!! I always lose it when Lane goes: "Ahhh!"

No ones mentioned the bit where lars discovers the package being sent back that was meant to have the mouse in it and then he spots the hole and theres just silence..and the he just screams lol

Hands down the part during the auction where the mouse goes down Lars' pants, and he grabs it right at his crotch and is like 'I've got you now my little friend!' and then Ernie gets on his knees and is like 'Hold on. I'm going to get it out!' I LMFAO at that part every time. Not to mention the way Lars is laughing when the mouse is going through his clothes!

Also,

1. When they blow up the floor because they shoot the flea bomb
2. When Ernie gets shot through the chimney

When Ernie is justifying blowing their last bit of cash on the tub and says, "They threw in the cardboard lady to sweeten the deal!"

Hands down, the funniest thing for me was the part where Ernie got shot through the chimney and fell into the tub in the lake, Lars got blasted into the wardrobe and then got his fingers crushed, and the way they were trying to communicate with each other afterward. I remember being in tears the first time I saw it, I was laughing so hard.

Christopher Walken was awesome in this. You can tell that he almost wants to laugh a little bit as he says his lines, which is great. There are honestly to many good parts to choose, but I always love the scene after the bug bomb goes off and they hit the mouse with the fruit and their readying to kill it and he says, "Pathetic? He's Hitler with a tail. This is the Omen with whiskers. Nostradamus didn't see this thing coming!"

The Looney Toons and Tom & Jerry moments in this film are just priceless imo.
