ADORE THIS FILM!!!!!

I caught it in the UK one really late friday night and I became engrossed from start to finish. I remember seeing it at about 12 years old a really long time ago, but not understanding a word of it, or really concentrating on it.
But my film tastes are much more mature now and I totally appreciated it, second time round. EVERY actor is outstanding in this, especially Andy Serkis, Harold Pinter and Ian Hart was just the BEST!!! his character was so strong yet shocked me completely half-way through.
I urge ANYONE who loves crime, gangster and film based in the 50's full of music from that era, check it out!!!

When it was played on my town in 1997, I went to see it because of Ian, but I thank this movie because it made me knew Aidan Gillen. I like so much these two actors!!!

I bought the poster and I still have it! Strong but interesting movie!

Also the other actors of the cast were very good and I'm happy to say that I knew Andy Serkis (that I saw also in "Career Girls" the same year) before "The Lord of the Rings" was made.

Just watched it, it's very dark. I felt really sorry for Baby (played Aidan Gillen).....no wonder he ended up like he did. AG gives a great performance!

A great cast all round, I think! :-)

Amazed at the low rating this has got - was an absolutely engrossing film, albeit unsettling at times. The 'tickle tickle' scene in particular was hard to watch - but hard to take your eyes off at the same time...
