Worst trilogy ever?

The sequels are direct to DVD ripoffs. Do they even count?

I actually quite like the original Mimic and thought that Mimic 3: Sentinel had a lot of fascinating ideas. The second one was pretty foul, but even it was at least reasonably stylishly put-together. 

The original Species was a fun little dopey movie. The second one was borderline so-bad-it's-good because it just went sooo far over-the-top insane with how ridiculous it was. Didn't even bother with the third one, though.

Still, neither are anywhere close to being the worst trilogies ever.

I'd say neither. There are worse than both.
