Surprised that Sharon Stone was in a film like this. She is mostly in erotic thrillers playing nymphomaniacs.

LOL, I was quite surprised too but I think she pulled it off really well. The part where she starts bashing the coffee machine and cries on Max's shoulder always gets to me. I can't even imagine how it must feel to know that your child is probably going to die and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

Yes I know seen it on a documentary about terminally sick kids dying. A mother crying her eyes out

It's all acting. And when given proper material, Sharon can act.

Her best performance to date and she should have recieved an Oscar nomination for this one. I was surprised how convincing she was.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe, but in the Supprting Actress category, which is surprising. She got star billing.
