anybody know if this movie was ever released on DVD?

i'm pretty sure it never was, but i could be wrong.

if it hasn't, does anyone know if there are plans to release it on DVD?

I still have the VHS, watching it right now :) this is the reason why I kept all my VHS-movies while everybody else threw theirs away.
