Because he's in the second one and has the same name.

Obviously it's probably half of the joke and I'm definitely not complaining because he had some of the funniest parts in the sequel, but I just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss something because he definitely looked dead when he was stuck to that ceiling.

If you look closely he actually blinks his eyes before the camera zooms into his face
