No, but they were not published by Marvel. The comic was a little-seen book published by Malibu comics, a lesser publisher of black and white material. Malibu was part of a group of comic lines that included Eternity and Aircel, and featured mainly amateur work with low budgte production. The owners were also involved in comic book distribution on the west coast. They were involved with publishing the first offerings from Image, though those guys quickly decided they could do everything with their own company. Malibu made enough from the deal to finance other color comics, which led to their Ultraverse line, launched to great fanfare. Ultraverse had name creators involved and was colored with a modern computer color system. Marvel eventually offered to buy the company, mainly wwith an aim at getting their color department. Although they published a few issues with the Ultraverse characters, they quickly put them to bed. One of the things they inherited with the buyout, was this film, which had been in development when Malibu was a seperate entity.

I had a couple of issues. They had an interesting concept, but I don't recall them being very spectacular. The art was nothing to write home about.
