J: 'Any idea how to use these things?'

K: "No idea whatsoever."

What part of the movie is that in? I can't find it any time I watch this. I saw the uncensored version on tv the other day and they still didn't say it. Is it a deleted scene?

My Google-Fu isn't all that strong, but here's what I found:

First, the URL of the search itself...
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&biw=&bih=&amp ;q=%22Men+in+Black%22+%22any+idea+how+to+use+these+things%22&btnG= Google+Search

...which only brought up one result; a review, it looks like.

I'm sure everybody is aware of this already....but anyway, the first time I saw the preview for Men In Black, which I believe was when I went to see Return of the Jedi Special Edition, I distinctly recall a bit of dialouge in the scene where the bug in the Edgar suit crash lands his ship and K and J are standing there ready with really sophisticated looking, powerful guns. The dialouge goes like "Do you have any idea how to use these things?" says J. "Not a clue." says K. For one thing, in the actual movie, K and J fire their guns BEFORE this line of dialouge would take place, but the line of dialouge never happens in the actual movie. Then...while I was recently watching a "behind the shades" in-look at the making of Men in Black on the sci-fi channel they showed that same missing scene, except this time it went "Do you have any idea how to use these things? No idea."

I don't think that line was ever intended to be in the film, it was just meant to be a funny line for in the trailer for advertising purposes. It wouldn't even make sense in the context of the film itself considering Kay was already an experienced MIB agent and was well aware of what he was doing.

In the commentary i just watched with the director and tlj the director says he chickened out and put in a different line. Apparently a lot of the movie was changed as they realy didn't haveagood ending and changed some stuff.
