i put this on my queue for blockbluster online rentals - it said long wait, and it was. it was a great surprise 4 months later when the DVD came in the mail. i hadn't watched it since it came out. i realize it's not an all-time comedy but RODNEY is still freakin funny.

i was rolling over with laughter when he was walking around the snobatorium of a party at the gov's house with the statues "member" in his pocket. worth watching just for that scene alone.

I know what you mean about this and found this hilarious to watch! I remember renting this from Hollywood Video back when they had VHS tapes prior to the clear out of VHS tapes to make room for DVDs and this was hilarious to watch back in 1997. I watched this the other night with a friend of mine and we were both laughing at that scene where he has the statues member in his pocket. I told my friend who works at a Walmart where we live at that he should walk around the Walmart floor with a banana or something like that in his pocket to make people laugh. I also said some other things that was hilarious as well for him to try. LOL

This is a classic I feel of Rodney Dangerfield because he did this at the time when there were a lot of talk shows on TV. There still are and I wished that some of these networks would put on afternoon movies like they once did back during the 80's.
