Am i the only one who thought Susen at the end was hilarious?

I mean when she saw Joe and her father cross the top hill and then the coffee shop guy appeared and she even didn't bothered to cross the hill and see what happened to her father ? i mean if the father got a heart attack or what happened to him ? then she walk with the coffee shop guy toward the party ? i mean really ? that was so non professional script as all the rest of the movie was perfect .

Ya', she's the last one to see Joe Black and her father walk off together. Joe comes back alone! I would think there'd be some explaining to do as Dad's body is lying in the grass somewhere and the last person known to be with him was Joe Black.

But, Susan and Joe wander off to the party as if nothing happened...

Yeah, I liked the movie, but that ending could definitely be improved. :)

I believe she understood what happened, specially when Joe from the coffee shop appeared and started acting confused. That's why she didn't mind to look for her father, she realized who Joe/Death was, and why they both had to leave. I think she got it right away when Bill refused her invitation to watch the fireworks because he needed to 'catch his breath'. Remember, she started crying and hugged him.
