I didn't think it was bad either. Funny thing is though, When I saw it in the theater there was only about 6 people total in there lol

This movie had one blessing, and that is Bruce Campbell. He upstaged every A-List or household name in it. The physical comedy in the bar room brawl sequence is hilarious!

Bruce rules - Big Way...

I absolutely agree with Thierry on the Bruce Campbell issue.

Bruce definitely lifts this movie from the pits of "worst movies ever".

I gave this film a 6 out of 10. Not worst film ever, but not brilliant.
Woth watching for Bruce Campbell & Dean Stockwell. If they had been the lead characters it could of been better!

Bruce Campbell, I believe, can make almost ANY movie watchable. The man is just great in everything. He's B-movie to his core and he revels in it.

But even he can't bring this abysmal mess out of the bottom 100. Tom Arnold's ADD inspired humor is irritating and unwatchable. While Tim Curry is very funny in almost all his movies and a good actor overall, you really need a good entire cast for something like this. I blame the writing.

Also, I think it's a shame that Borgnine would poop on his old movie (which was very funny) by making a cameo in this monstrosity.

I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of Bruce and I've been trying to find more of his movies. I had no idea he was in this until I accidently saw it on his page. How long exactly is he in it? Even if it's only a couple of minutes, it's sure worth seeing.

I watched this movie because French was in it. He, Bruce and Tim are the only real good things about it. I have never been a fan of Tom Arnold. He is annoying and stupid. Not worth putting as a lead in ANY movie.

watching this movie like right this instant on ITV, its really funny, in a weird way, I like the ensign black guy - so pathetic it;s sweet and Tim Currys funny... he was in muppet treasure island in a similar style part I think - equally evil... at the backgammon with monkey bit.... this movie shouldn't be in the 100 worst movies... LOL "excuse me my stuntmen have arrived I better go reherse" "cue" *willie smacks other guy with pool cue* this movies fantastic

I love this movie too, when I was a little younger, I watched it every night for a nighttime movie. I just might go find it now. But it is a great movie. I don't know why people call it bad.

definately not as bad as people make it out to be. and it had me and my mates in stiches (true we where stoned at the time) but still funny

What a joke of a movie compared to the Series I'm afraid to say.
As soon as David Alan Grier appeared this movie went straight to a very low star rating for me.

AMEN!! When I first saw the rating this movie got here I was like WTF?!! This is one of the best evil characters I've seen Tim Curry play (aside from the fact that I think any movie with TC in it should default to a score greater than 5 on imdb), and Tom isn't so bad either. Well, he's as good as he could be I suppose. I think the reason this got such a low score here is, frankly, because it's a Tom Arnold movie. He's like the male version of Rosie O'Donnell. Sorry Tom, that's what I think.

But Curry completely made this movie what it was. He WAS the comic relief in a comedy, you can't get much better than him and his awesome ability to portray a character.

No, it's not half as terrible, it's a 1,000 times worse. I sat there with an astonished look on my face watching this mess. I didn't even break a smile this was so stupid and totally unfunny.

How could anyone say this movie is "unwatchable"? Any movie with Tim Curry and/or Bruce Campbell is worth my time and money. They are two of the best actors even.

I agree.. It's been on Max and I watched it again. It's mindless humor. There are some laugh out loud parts. I gave it a 6 out of 10.

Tim Curry saying. "Another unmotivated random killing" cracks me up!!! LOL

I remember loving this movie as a kid really surprised by all the bashing people do of it, there is no way it is that bad.
