My favorite scene was when Marcy has to judge the singing contest. A gorgeous man gets up and sings Raglan Road and everyone proclaims him the winner. Then Sean, who is slightly jealous of Marcy getting ready to kiss the winner, jumps up and starts screeching a song, sounding awful, hoping to be the winner of the contest and giving him a chance to kiss Marcy. The gesture was so sweet and Marcy was so touched by his attempt at getting her attention.

shareWhen Marcy first gets to her hotel room and sees how small it is. At one point she says" Hello I like to make a call...... From the smallest f ing room in the world." That line gets me every time.
sharemine is when they get to the old man's house on the island - everything out of that crazy old coot's mouth makes me laugh out loud! and i agree with your choice, too - Marcy's face as he sings and his triumphant look when he sits down are priceless!
