Does anyone know if this movie is based on the same book/novel as "Lucie Aubrac?"

I can't find any books written by Lucie Aubrac with that title, although there are numerous Google references to the phrase, "Boulevard des hirondelles." Both movies seem to share the same characters, time frames, etc. It seems odd that the movie would be re-made so quickly (6 years later) in the same language. An English language re-make might be more understandable (if not so desirable).

I think this film is based on Lucie's on book Outwitting the Gestapo. But I'm not sure.

Her book is called "Outwitting the Gestapo," I forget its original french title.

The boulevard des hirondelles is a street in the film, but I have no idea if the movie is based on a particular book.
