Jason Priestley was perfect for the role

He is just so attractive that I myself could see myself contacting him and wanting to be around him. His casting makes the movie all the more believable. I think the reason I watch Beverly Hills 90210 so much is that he really came across as a good guy who does his best to do the right thing. As a gay male he is the type who is exactly the type of person I would want in my life. If only they had a version of this movie where it was a younger guy and a chance of romance. One can keep dreaming.

So you are fine with a story arc of an obsessed fan preying on a man in a committed r'ship? Are you saying that if only John Hurt were younger and more attractive, this would be your idea of romance? All's fair in love and war?

Sure. If they really are in love and monogamous then they will decline. If they are open and are bi or gay then maybe something will. Having an older man meant that romance was most likely out of the question. Just would have loved to seem that from Jason back then

Giles was a slightly mad celebrity stalker and predator. Your only regret seems to be that he was not young and attractive enough to carry off his prey. But luckily for her and Ronnie, Audrey realised and extricated themselves from his grasp.

Do you have a shrine for Jason Priestly in your mother's basement?

reply

No. lol. I'm not taking every single part of the movie to heart but you can't blame someone for being fascinated with someone or hoping they may return feelings. How far someone takes it is another discussion
