Movies Like 'Love Jones'

I just saw this movie and I really loved it. I was wondering if there is any other good movies like this one.

I would say "Jason's Lyric" with Allen Payne and Jada Pinkett-Smith. I also think "Love & Basketball" with Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan would be worth checking out as well.

Here's another one: "Daddy's Little Girls" with Gabrielle Union.

Brown Sugar is a movie that is most like it.

How about these selections which also incorporate the character's names into the title: Have Plenty," "Poetic Justice," "Jason's Lyric" and "Eve's Bayou," the latter three, which by the way, also features the ferociously talented Lisa-Nicole Carson. Go figure that!

Definitely Disappearing Acts and Poetic Justice. Brown Sugar, Jason's Lyric and Love and Basketball are really good too.

Other than Love & Basketball and some of the others mentioned, "Love, Sex, and Eating the Bones" is a cute little indie movie that you might enjoy.
