A neglected chapter of history revealed

Many of us did not know that until the day the Jewish state was established, hundreds of thousands of european jews were STILL incarcerated in squalid DP camps in cyprus, germany & austria.

the vague impression many of us have, that the west 'awarded' the jews with their own state, is not really an accurate understanding of the history.

the formation of the jewish state was a last resort, of sorts - brought to the forge by jewish determination to immigrate, passive & armed resistance to the powers of the world, east and west, and inspired leadership.
