Granted...I started watching this probably in the middle towards the end but what is the matter with Flyboy? He's so timid and shy and quiet...what happaned to him, or rather what did the mother do to him to make him that way?

He was the product of the incest between his mother and his grandfather. His mother married his suposed father already pregnant. She claimed he treated her badly, so she had no better idea to get rid of him than get thirteen years old Flyboy in bed with her and her husband to see them. The hubby commited suicide, Flyboy understandably lost it and got commited to a hospital, from where I think he was recently out when the movie started, from what he told Clay.
