How does this end?

SPOILER here!

Right at the time when all four of the main characters are together and MacGregor is fighting Delroy Lindo and telling Diaz (who is bound and blindfolded playing cards), finally, that he loves her...my TV screwed up and flipped to another channel and I couldn't watch the ending! How, please someone, does this movie end? I think that someone had just entered (probably her father's other goons) the room. I don't want to rent it because I've seen most of it. Help!

It's not really that easy to describe what happens without writing an essay so i suggest that you just bit the bullet and rent it out or get one of your friends that haven't seen it to get it out

I'm taking this from memory.

Okay, so Ewan says he loves Diaz and then Ian Holm comes in and his bodyguard (?) kills holly hunter and her partner.

Then he takes Ewan to the house (that he and Diaz were in) and keeps Diaz in the car trunk. He goes into the house with the dead Holly Hunter and her partner and his bodyguard and Ewan. He tells Ewan to find the money.

Ian Holm sees Holly Hunter and her partner start "moving" and gets nervous while Ewan looks for the money.

Meanwhile, in heaven, the angles want Gabriel to call God so God help Ewan and Diaz down on Earth. Gabriel protests.

While Ewan looks for the money, Gabriel calls God and God agrees. So, you seen Diaz in the trunk and the trunk door opens. The guy from the other house and Felix give Diaz a gun.

Meanwhile, Ian Holm's bodyguard is about to kill Ewan. Cameron walks in with the gun and says that she loves him "as he dreamt, i would pierce his heart with an arrow. an arrow of my love." then she shoots Ewan, but the bullet goes right through to the bodyguard and the bodyguard dies.

The reason it goes through Ewan is because their love is so strong and that there is something else up there that keeps people together.

Cut to Ewan and Cameron in a bar talking about what has happened, with clips from the movie playing behind them. They debate about their love and divine intervention. (they don't really say divine intervention but you know what I mean)

So they get out of the booth and Ewan is in a sexy kilt and Cameron is in a white dress and they've been married. They got outside the bar and streamers fall down and kiss.

THE END

(hope this helps. i'm pretty sure i got everything right. I think this is pretty good for not seeing the movie in at least four months!)

i wish the ring had never come to me.

Not a bad answer. But the bodyguard wasn't killed, just wounded. If you pay attention, even with all the gunplay, no one is actually killed in the movie.

And don't forget, there is a little bit of scenes going on after Ewan and Cameron leave the bar. Gabriel is shown in the morgue van with the body bags. He announces that they can come out, and the bags unzip and out come Delroy and Holly, gasping for air. Gabriel announces that they succeeded and they get to go home.

Then there is a strange, but interesting credit roll. It is done with clay annimation (think Wallace & Grommit). You see Cameron and Ewan driving to pick up the money out of the pickup truck and flying through the air to Scotland where they buy a castle. While they are flying through the air, they see Delroy & Holly in the clouds, waving at them. Then when they land in Scotland, they pass her father (Ian Holm) and his bodyguard who are shackled in stocks. They throw some fruit in their faces. So it sort of wraps up what happens to them and the money and her father. And gives them a clue to the angels' roles in their story.

Okay, that's that!

Yeah, but it's a slight cheat, though. The angels if they were human would've been dead ;)
