Poster design similar to 'Slumdog'

Is it just me or does the poster of this film resemble that which was later used for "Slumdog Millionaire" (I realize they're both Danny Boyle films)? It almost feels like they used the same editor or decided to go with the same sort of theme and recycle it. The fonts look similar, they both incorporate blurring of the backgrounds as well as the use of bright blues and pinks/purples. Or maybe I'm just overanalyzing it?
